The Importance of Water with Jason Ferruggia

Earth is about 70 percent water, consisting of oceans, lakes, and streams. 100% of it recycled through osmosis, percolation, and evaporation. The water dinosaurs drank one million years ago, we muscle gaining secrets drink today. Our bodies are approximately 75-80 percent water, or about 10 to 12 gallons. Most of our total body weight is made up of water. We continually flush water through our system in a variety ways before flushing it out again when it needs to be recycled. Our bodies do not store water, which is why it’s extremely important to drink a lot of water daily.

Humans need 9-14 eight oz. glasses of water per day…AT LEAST. Depending on what types of exercise you may be doing during the day. Jason Ferruggia, a well-known fitness expert, writes in his book A Muscle Gaining Secret, about the importance of water. Bodies cannot work at peak efficiency if we do not have enough hydration. It is estimated most of us walk around dehydrated. A human body can only live about 3 days without water…so drink up.
